WHAT IS BOTOX AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Botox is the world’s premier wrinkle treatment. It’s basically a muscle relaxer. It works by hindering the communication between nerves and muscles. The results are diminished and softened stress and worry lines, and forehead lines disappear.
HOW LONG DOES BOTOX LAST?
The maximum effects take place in 2 weeks and last from 3 to 4 months.
Typically, there is only slight discomfort with each injection. Dr. Eagan injects very slowly and uses an ultra-fine needle which minimizes any discomfort during the injection. Also, topical numbing medication can be applied to numb the area.
IS BOTOX SAFE?
Yes! When administered by a trained and experienced professional, it is safe. Botox has been used for nearly 23 years on millions of patients in over 70 countries. It is one of the safest, most researched and carefully monitored medications used worldwide. Botox is made by only one manufacturer, Allergan Corporation of Irvine, California. We only use the authentic Botox product which is precisely produced in the laboratory.

WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
Dermal Fillers are a smooth, hyaluronic acid gels infused with lidocaine. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring biodegradable complex sugar found in the human body. It retains moisture and plumps. In just a few minutes Dr. Eagan can inject fillers to help restore your natural contours and soften wrinkles. Using a fine needle, Dr. Eagan will place the filler under the skin to help fill the soft tissue under a wrinkle or line. This will add volume and help diminish the appearance of the wrinkle.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
Injections typically take 30-45 minutes. Results are immediate.
ARE FILLERS PAINFUL?
Topical anesthesia may be applied before the procedure to minimize discomfort, but this is usually not necessary as the treatment is almost painless. We also mix many fillers with a numbing agent to further ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Ice packs are provided.
HOW LONG DO DERMAL FILLERS LAST?
Fillers can last for up to 6-12 months. Correction is temporary, therefore touch-up injections as well as repeat injections are usually needed to maintain optimal corrections. Though our fillers are FDA approved to last for up to one year, individual results vary depending on the treated areas.
Since hyaluronic acid is naturally found in our body, it is safe. Your body naturally absorbs it over time. Fillers are well tolerated and needs no allergy testing. All the Dermal Fillers we use are FDA approved.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
